Camp Structure

  • No, we do not offer day camps. All of our sports camps are residential with players staying on-site overnight. Choose between a 6-night (1 week) or 13-night (2 weeks) stay.

  • Our Total Sport option combines 24 hours of coaching with 8 hours of sport-specific workshops per week.

Our Sport + English option combines 24 hours of coaching + 13 hours of English lessons per week.

Check out our Nike Sports Camps here.

  • Yes, we have different schedules depending on the camp you’re interested in. Please visit our contact page and provide us with the following information: the sport your child is interested in, his/her age, and the programme type – Total Sport or Sport + English – we would be happy to provide you one.

  • If your child is almost the minimum age, please contact us to discuss your options.

  • The camps are incredibly diverse, welcoming children from over 100 different nationalities. The largest groups come from the UK and America, making up about 30% of the participants. The rest come from various regions, including South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. This diversity provides a fantastic environment for cultural exchange and learning.

  • The camps cater to a wide range of ability and experience levels. Players are grouped by age and ability, ensuring that each participant is challenged appropriately. It is advisable you have some experience in your chosen sport in advance of the camp but it is not a requirement. The only exception is our golf camp which is only suitable for novice or experienced players.

Coaches and Coaching

  • The coaches at the camps are highly qualified, holding the highest coaching qualifications and experience in their relevant sports. This includes PGA professionals on our golf camps, LTA Level 5 Master performance qualified instructors on our Tennis camps, and the FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate on our Basketball Camps. In addition to this, a number of our coaches have experience as professional athletes which is an invaluable resource in inspiring young athletes.

  • The coaches at the camps are carefully selected based on their qualifications and experience. We recruit and train all our staff and coaches ourselves to ensure they have the skills and qualities desirable for our camps. All staff are DBS checked and go through a thorough reference and background check before completing our online and in-person safety training.

  • Your child will receive two main sports sessions each day. Typically, there are three hours of coaching in the morning and another three hours in the evening. The afternoon is reserved for recovery activities, workshops and/or English if Total Sport + English is selected.

  • On the first day, the coaching team will split the players into training groups based on each players’ age and ability to help the focus on the right skills.

Training and Learning

  • On camp, your child will receive sports coaching to improve their sports skills and techniques. They will also learn about match analysis, game strategies, and important off-court topics like nutrition. If they choose to participate in English lessons, these will be sports-themed to enhance their language skills in an engaging way.

  • Yes, your child can still attend the camp even if they don't want to participate in English lessons. The camp offers a Total Sport program where English is naturally integrated into sports activities, allowing them to improve their language skills in a more immersive and engaging way.

On Camp

Parental Contact

  • Yes, the camp participants are allowed to use their phones at certain times of day. At most locations, we take players’ phones upon arrival at the venue and place them along with their other valuables in a secure location to pick up after training. We find this is the best way to keep phones safe and allow players to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

  • Absolutely! Many children attend the camps on their own, and the staff is experienced in helping them settle in and make new friends. The camp environment is supportive and inclusive, with plenty of activities designed to encourage social interaction and team building. Your child will be well looked after and will likely enjoy meeting new people from all over the world.

Room Sharing

• Room sharing options are dependent on the venue. At most venues, your child will either be in a single room or share a room with one other person. If there are more room share requests than available double rooms, your child might be placed in a single room next to their friends.

  • Yes, please feel free to contact us stating the name of your child and who they would like to room with. Please note that we can only accommodate room share requests for players within a 2-year age range and of the same gender.

Spending Money

  • Players can get by without spending money but there is the opportunity to buy additional snacks on camp, as well as buy souvenirs and extra food on excursions. The camp is cashless, so players tend to bring a UK-activated credit/debit card or use Apple Pay/Google Wallet (might spend between £50 and £200).

  • Yes, there is an on-site camp shop where players can purchase additional snacks and souvenirs. The camp operates on a cashless system, so players typically use a UK-activated credit/debit card for purchases.

Players should not bring non-prescribed medication such as ibuprofen and paracetamol, these will be provided by the camp and administered by qualified medical staff.

Wellbeing

  • We have a 24/7 on-site welfare team who are entirely focused on the players’ experience. These staff are taught to connect with players from the moment they set foot on camp, helping them acclimatise to a new environment. They are empathetic, attentive and proactive, forming great relationships with players to help them settle in and are on hand to help with any challenges they might experience.

  • One of the welfare team’s focus areas is helping players to make friends with each other. They will get the players out playing sport as soon as possible after arrival at the venue, giving them a chance to meet one another and start to work as a team. The daily schedule is carefully planned to encourage players to spend time together, and our mobile phone policy ensures that they are fully engaged and present. The welfare team are always there to support players who might feel less confident to get involved and feel included.
